We always welcome members of the Church of St. Michael to become involved in Liturgical Ministries.  Below, you will find a list of ministries. Please contact the Parish Office if you are interested in serving.

LECTORS: 

Lectors are important ministers to the Mass.  Greeting, proclaiming the Word, and reading petitions are some of the tasks.  If you are interested in lectoring, please contact the Parish Office at 251-6923.

MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST: 

The Eucharistic Ministers are responsible for the smooth flow of Holy Communion.  They are responsible for distributing the consecrated Bread and Wine.  If you are interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister, please call the Parish Office.

MASS SERVERS: 

Boys and girls fourth grade or older are invited to contact Fr. Bernie if they would like to serve at Mass.  Adults, both men and women, can also serve.  Contact the Parish Office. 

GIFT BEARERS: 

If you are interested in helping celebrate the Eucharist by bringing the Bread and Wine to the altar for a Sunday Liturgy, please see the ushers when you arrive.  

GREETERS: 

Greeters are responsible for offering a warm welcome to all who enter Church.  They strive to create a spirit of hospitality so that each member will feel a sense of community.  If you are interested in becoming a greeter, contact the Parish Office.

USHERS: 

Our gathering for the Eucharist is a symbol of unity and generosity.  Ushers are present to extend greetings and lend a helping hand to all who gather.  Ushers help with the offertory collection and are alert to any needs that arise throughout the celebration.  If you are interested in becoming an usher, contact the Parish Office.
