Parishioners throughout the diocese are invited to a night of telling stories of what it means to be a missioner in an interfaith context, with Fr. Bob McCahill, MM, on Tuesday, June 13th at 6:30pm at Christ Church Newman Center in St. Cloud.
Fr. Bob McCahill, a Maryknoll missioner, has spent the last 35 years serving in the predominantly Muslim country of Bangladesh. His is a ministry of presence not proselytizing, getting to know his neighbors as he rides through the villages on his bicycle, and helping those in need get often difficult medical care. He has been called the “Mother Teresa of Bangladesh.” Come to hear his stories and learn more about his ministry and his Muslim brothers and sisters, and you will see why! The event is free and open to all.
